Campaigns
The customer journey can be linked to a campaign as defined in the Democrance admin system.
Each subproduct has a ‘default’ campaign, and any users coming in without a lead will be linked to the default campaign. The default campaign can also have a number of SMS or e-mail touch points defined.
Generally, a customer journey involves the customer receiving a link with a lead_id. The lead has a number of states, which indicate which part of the customer journey they are at.
If the customer does not have a lead, a lead is created against the default campaign for the subproduct.
The following states exist in in a campaign:
‘NEW’ ‘POTENTIAL’ ‘INTERESTED’ ‘PURCHASED’
two additional states exist to reflect cart abandonment at various states.
‘POTENTIAL_TIMEOUT’ and ‘INTERESTED_TIMEOUT’ indicate these states
